Making a Difference: Bridging Borders with Inmates

  • Successfully supported the reintegration of 30 incarcerated individuals back into the community.
  • Conducted six cohorts of programs for youth involved in gang violence in East Scarborough.
  • Ran two mental health programming sessions for inmates, aiding in the recovery of three families from PTSD and depression.
  • Assisted three international visitors in avoiding deportation under sexual assault charges.
  • Recruited 15 volunteers over the last three years.
